1. Eligible for participation are people from all nations and ages.
2. The registration must be completed until March 15, 2012.
3. The decisions of the jury are final. The course of law is excluded. In case of doubt the
German version of the website of the festival is to be consulted.
4. The declared programme has binding character. Additional changes are accepted until April 15, 2012.
Arrangements are allowed. The organizers own the right to make use of all competition contributions (e.g. recordings
etc.) without generating rights by the participants.
5.Programme of the competition
1. Round (Preselection)
compulsory Piece: Fernando Sor - from Op.19 „6 Airs de la Flúte enchantée“ Nr. 1, 3, 5
and free programme
Duration of performance max. 15 min (incl. F. Sor`s Airs!)
2. Round - Finale of the competition (6 participants will be chosen for the final round)
compulsory piece: Janko Raseta - „Lontano“ (duration 3 min)
and
free programme of maximum 20 min including one Work from the 19 century (classic, romantic) min. duration 5‘ AND
at least one piece of J.S. Bach min. duration 5‘.
An authorised copy of the piece by J. Raseta - „Lontano“ will be sent to you via E-mail after successful registration. You will receive the original published edition at the festival for free. Alternatively, you may order the sheet music from Chanterelle Verlag www.chanterelle.com at your own expense.
6. Prizes of the competition
1. Prize 1500 € and a master guitar by Masaki Sakurai
2. Prize 800 €
3. Prize 500 €
4. Prize 250 €
5. Prize 200 €
6. Prize 150 €
Special prize for the best interpretation of the piece by Fernando Sor 200 €
Special prize for the best interpretation of the piece by J. Raseta - 200 €
Chanterelle gift certificate for sheet music 100 €
The jury has the right to change the distribution of prizes described above, with the exception of the first prize!
7. The organisers of the festival assume no liability for instruments and other property of the participants.
8. With the registration the participant declares his or her agreement with the terms and conditions of the competition described above.
